Our story
Tamil House began as a simple idea — to cook the food we grew up with and share it the way we remember: on banana leaves, around bustling tables, with endless tumblers of hot filter coffee. We honour Tamil Nadu’s tiffin culture — quick, soulful plates — and marry it with London’s pace. Every dosa is spread by hand, every podi is roasted in small batches, every cup of coffee is pulled the traditional way. Vanakkam — welcome home.
